So, last night we were served a Shiraz then a Rioja, today for lunch, the same combo. Truly disturbing!

One of the women I work with often gets her words mixed up. We already knew her favourite TV programme was grisly crime drama series 'Walking The Dead', but yesterday she told me how she'd videoed gay cowboy film 'Broadband Mountain'; and that when I ducked behind the counter in the afternoon it was like that old Children's cartoon series 'Torchie the Battery Boy' - you know, where him and his dog go through the floor, down a helter-skelter to Cuckooland, etc.

One of the dead soldiers (or whatever) alluded to was called Clive Langer. One of the actresses was called Alice Coltrane. So there you go.

One of the dead soldiers (or whatever) alluded to was called Clive Langer. I thought I heard this too, but after reading the Fear Forecast bit on the BBC's Dr Who site I realised they were talking about the kids from Sarah Jane Adventures, one of whom is called Clyde Langer en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Jane_Adventures

Was anyone else confused that Glastonbury wasn't on this weekend? I think I've gained a week somewhere...

Noodling around on some brain training app on Facebook, I appear to have devolved from 'scholar' level earlier in the day to 'neanderthal' level at the end of the working day.
Time to get off the 'puter, methinks. (And have a nice glass of wine...hmmm. That'll help the brain cell regeneration, I'm sure..!)

Eee, I think 'Sweet Talking Candyman' was written especially for the film, but I'm not certain. I just assume most of The Carrie Nation's songs were new compositions to be performed by the actors, unlike, most obviously, the Strawberry Alarm Clock's ones.
