Still waiting for Yahoo to do more than send me identical "We're looking into your problem" mail, so have set up a similar account
dizzytigerstu@yahoo.co.uk
As & when my old one's back running again, I'll amend the main site to make this new address the label-enquiry one (& the old one can be for everything else). [UPDATED: Have now altered main site & my other contacts, to show new email: old address still frozen]
Feel free to mail me at the new address with random stuff (jokes, animated kittens, etc) so I know if it's working or not. Ta, Stu x

Well, got one email through on the new address from Monster Bobby (re: a Totally Bored query), so am assuming it's working ok! Could any of you reading this who operate other sites (eg Rumiko, Passive Aggressive, Spirit Of Gravity) with mailing lists alter my details there as appropriate? Thanks.

My old email is now accessible again, so people can mail me on either, though the main site and these boards will from now on just show the dizzytiger address. Rang Yahoo customer care on 0870-352-2000 and the woman was able to fix it with a few clicks. The problem had affected 3 groups of users, which I know includes some of you lot, and although their engineers are still going through the files, I'd recommend giving them a ring instead, of course. (Think of all that spam I missed out on, one of those "Topp offer on dr@gs for hot man, Pablo" could have been the money-saver I was waiting for..)

I think I can speak for everyone in my email address book when I say: For fuck's sake, Kim, these things are just the email equivalent of a chain letter! Unless you do get rich quick, in which case, hey buddy! Sorry everyone...

If it's any use to anyone, I've ended up with an additional account: stuhuggett@gmail.com - I'm not gonna use it much myself, but other gmail users may find it useful. The main address for the label remains dizzytigerstu@yahoo.co.uk whilst my original address still also applies at stuhuggett@yahoo.co.uk (even though Yahoo now shop journalistic contributors to their own country if they speak up; did you know you can't search such terms as Democracy, Human Rights etc on Yahoo:China? That's just shit..) Oh, also, I'll re-iterate to casual visitors to these boards: one benefit of actually registering yourself here is that you can access other users email addresses (when given), or at least you can privately message (pm) them, which has some social uses I'm sure. Bedtime for Bonzo.

Hey Stu,
Bit off-topic, but just wondered how you came by your Gmail account?
They've just expanded availablity in the United States, but it requires a US mobile number to receive an invite, which obviously I haven't got.
Just wanted to dump my hotmail account really, as it's a bit bobbins...

Rachel sent me an automatic invite email somehow, I'll see if I can get one out to you too. She's a member, and wanted to put me on Gmail so she could send some tracks to me more easily, which, um, she hasn't done actually.

Yay, Rachie sent the songs! Haven't heard them yet though. Anyway, have made the Gmail invite to Caroline. Looks like there's 18 more invites I can send, if anyone's interested. Not looked into it far enough to know if I'd recommend it yet, they seem to be pushing it as a virtually-unlimited mailbox system, with a Google search on your mail to find messages. Petra's been using it too.

Anna has set-up our house up on her AOL account, which means another email address stuhuggett@aol.com has been created, but I can't think of any reason to use it! It exists, though.
