Oh wow, I was gonna suggest Carolyn & I challenge you & Caroline to a theremin/pitch-bending musical face-off, and issue the results as the 4th split cassette for Dizzy Tiger, but maybe we should do Luke & Leia vs Charlie instead! For an entire 90 minutes.

Charlie in more of a synth cat acrobat than a theremin player. The other day he was playing my minimoog with his back legs and roland sh-1000 with his front (all performed at a 45 degrees whilst climbing on my A-frame)

So, it turns out Regular John are also shit-hot at making videos... www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g5_TY1zyEE - Nb: You'd have to give it an 18 certificate, so approach with caution. More videos on www.regularjohn.co.uk as well as YouTube, but I didn't know if anyone else had been looking.

Was chatting with Lisa about this last night, and made the mistake of hunting it out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjLelGYEEio Jaysus. Who knew modelling clay could be so scary...? *shiver*

Me and Ade once went to a meeting (in Garston's Community Centre) by the 7th Day Adventists, lecturing about the evils of rock music. They had some films to show too: they were very fond of the old claymation in them religious circles...

uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dYR1BdOfztkThat's clever: there's a YouTube icon for replyng on the boards now, which brings up the video image to the left if you cut&paste it, but also an advert on the right... How do they do that? ANyone else want to try?

Paula's Xtina query made me think of looking for this clip from Bewitched (from the episode where Boyce & Hart guest-star: they also wrote this song for Serena to perform...) uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3cFkXSgfjgI've often played Redd Kross' cover of this off my 53rd & 3rd compilation lp - here's a clip of them playing it in May of this year (shame they didn't do it at ATP) uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vWIA_-hIUcI

How Indiepop is this? None more Indiepop... Early 90's live clip of The Popguns covering 'Bye Bye Baby' with Amelia Fletcher on backing vocals. At an Anti Poll Tax gig. Not only that, but I think it's been uploaded by the Popguns' guy who used to be in The Wedding Present... Enjoy. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=X9BBgGLD6V8

Your Noah & The Whale link isn't working, here's another uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jRX5kH6IrkYIncidentally, when searching YouTube, for obscure music clips, I keep turning up ones where users have made the video themselves - sometimes just by scanning in a photo or the record sleeve, or, as in the following example, just filming their record player... uk.youtube.com/watch?v=z4SzpdZ6YNU

Nice one Prof. Nikolaus Hottong! It's like living in a real-life High School Musical... Expect it to be ripped-off something rotten, OK Go -style, by an advertising company before the end of the Summer: Howard Brown & the Halifax posse, perhaps?

I love the slight look of terror in the eyes of some of the students:
*...please don't let me be the one that mucks this up, please don't let me be the one that mucks this up, please...*

By the way, I was just trying (and failing) to find a clean YouTube link to Paris Hilton's Presidential Ad - It's worth a quick search & look yourself anyway. "See you at the polls, bitches."
