So, the forthcoming General Election is 6th May (the last one was 5th May 2005, before we created this site).
I've just had a bizarre request from East to see if anyone would be able to write and record a pro-voting song in the next few days, to tie-in with a feature they're planning for the May issue. Anyone want to give it a go? I can give you more details if so.
Strange times.

Not sure how far they got with the above idea, but here's an email from Dave Standen at East if anyone's interested in taking part:
Help East Magazine with our General Election Feature
Creative people of East Sussex,
We’re looking for help on a feature we’re running in the May issue of East Magazine. It’s all to do with the upcoming general election. Basically we’re looking for people with strong opinions about voting. Whether you believe that voting is essential and everyone’s civic duty; or you believe voting is a waste of time and doesn’t change anything – we want to hear from you.
If any of you would like to help us with this and don’t mind your views being published, then please email me back before the end of tomorrow either on Facebook or on dave@eastmagazine.co.uk.
All the best,
Dave East Magazine

Hi Stu, The email address for Dave at East Magazine doesn't seem to work. Can you check this?

The email is correct - I've been getting emails from Dave all morning. Maybe their server (or whatever) was down earlier?
