Wow! I built mine and it sounds great (I even made a custom stand)!!! I've ordered another one for Deano. These things are better than stylophones

Looks like I'll need to shell out more cash via Amazon (I've just ordered the new three hour Kraftwerk doc DVD which should arrive tomorrow). I didn't see Reuben's performance but he seemed happy enough with it when I saw him at the Rumiko gig. Apparently they were asked/ordered to turn the sound down following a neighbor's complaint (this has to be a good sign in my opinion) BTW, the audiophonic cabaret was pretty good. I've been in contact with the organizers and it looks like they are planning a few more with more of a focus on performance (the last one was lecture based). I've given them the SOG contact details in the hope they book some of the acts

There's quite a bit of TR-606 (or similar Roland equivalent) on that new Keane album, by the way...

would the tuning control be the same as the loop on your...erm...carolines' theramin?

Yep, the knob on the side acts as the volume loop. I've never played a theramin like this but it can't be any harded to play than the loop type.

I think you had Reuben's last one at the time! But he says he'll have another one to give to me later.

I'm astonished that they're only £20 to be honest. Signed commemorative plate £80, for example.
