I was unsuccessfully looking for the date for the upcoming Kings Of Convenience gig at the De La Warr (which we want to go to), but I did find Goldfrapp's YouTube message to the people of Bexhill (in advance of the gig that happened last year). A fair bit of the actual gig is on a dvd special edition of Goldfrapp's last album Seventh Tree - did anyone get that version?

More forthcoming De La Warr gigs (paid and free) than you'd know what to do with: Richard Hawley! Kings Of Convenience! Fence Collective! The Leisure Society! see here.

Right then, that's Speech Debelle/Micachu & The Shapes, and now Vampire Weekend confirmed for the De La Warr in the spring (along with The Leisure Society, a promising Portico Quartet/Sweet Billy Pilgram gig, and Hastings' semi-own Acoustic Ladyland), plus Simon Bookish for Feb's Random Friday.
There's another decent gig lined-up for the spring too, which they've not announced yet - but it's on the same sort of lines & level as those mentioned above (and some of the previous De La Warr gigs). Any guesses (except for Carolyn, and possibly Reuben, who may already know...)?

It's not impossible... but no.
Press-release goes out tomorrow, I think.

A very good, and likely, guess, but no. The De La Warr announcement wasn't due to go out 'til tomorrow morning, but the artist has let the cat out the bag on her site already. EDIT: Actually it's on the De La Warr's site too.

Definitely at least two more De La Warr concerts to be announced soon: international artists, both done ATP before (I think)...
Is anyone doing Vampire Weekend, Bat For Lashes or Speech Debelle then?
