Sadly rotated to another advert now, but the banner ad at the top of the Dizzy Tiger home page just now was for a social networking site for birdspotters. Which made me lol.

I bet it's more popular than these boards though!
Actually I can still identify far more species of birds than is healthy for normal social interaction. There's a colony of long-tailed tits in St Anne's Well Gardens at the top of our road, you know...

To clarify, it wasn't that I was knocking bird-spotters (would love to know a bit more about them myself, actually, rather than just "There's a magpie! And there's a seagull! And there's...a green one!"), but I did find the idea of a social networking site devoted to them quite amusing...

I don't know about the rest of you, but whenever I'm hungover or sniffly this week I think it's Swine Flu. I was throwing up on Wednesday, but that was wine-induced.

I've been to Flamingo Land...I seem to remember it being a bit...low tech, which makes that even more worrying... (although that was in the late eighties, I suppose. They've probably sunk some more money into it by now! )
