I could be the only one with an interest in this other than maybe Dean( who is fearful of these new fangled computing machines, for they are the devils work) however you can now download Swervedriver B-sides and live versions of their albums from www.swervedriver.comThe selection of the live tracks is done by a fan but has the approval of Adam Swervedriver. I am excited by this as I never saw them live and Son of Mustang Ford is possibly my favourite Creation single for sheer guitar heroism alone.

Did I detect a definite Swervedriver influence on one of Rumiko's newer songs on New Year's Day..?

Yeah, that would be the bit we have been calling "the swervedrivery bit". Too blatant a homage?

I'm doing reviews for East today, but rather than wait 'til the one I'm listening to now gets into print, take a listen - www.myspace.com/igetflashbacks- They're from Battle-Crowhurst-Hastings, and very Swervedriver. I'm liking this one.

Unfortunately I missed Swervedriver in London in September due to A. Being on holiday, and B. Not checking the bloody website regularly enough.
Pablo went and reviewed it for Unsignedchart. So chalk another one up for Pabs' many tales of great gigs you never went to because you were either too young or not as hip as him (see also Mark Olson era Jayhawks, MBV in '88 etc). I am jealousy personified.
