Don't forget to pick up your fantastically ill-timed Michael Jackson cover story expose in the new issue of Q Magazine - out just now, presumably 'cos they weren't able to recall copies quick enough. I suspect many angry Jackson fans will be returning their copies to WHSmith once they realise they've not bought a rush-released tribute issue... (There's an editorial apology on the Q site: "If you do take offence to any part of the issue in light of Michael Jackson’s tragic passing, I can only apologise on behalf of Q. Hopefully, you will understand that no offence was intended or meant." Oops.)

I feel really sad that he passed away so unhappy. He was taking tons of painkillers and unable to come out of the big black hole. Shows what kind of damage your parents can do when you are growing up...thank God i´ll never have kids, I´m so glad about it. However, tragic news. Wish he´d died after a brilliant comeback album, or, at least, on stage trying to have a comeback!

- Amusingly picked up on by Pat Long in the current NME this. With the last week's saturation Jackson coverage, has anyone else found themselves not only singing his songs, but doing the dance routines too? That's the power of the media more than Jackson, I think. Even the cats are starting to wonder what "shamone" actually means...
