It might be worth throwing this discussion open. I favour being over the water at the Gritti Palace. Harpers is too pricey, and likely to be too arsey too. Let's all go out somewhere this year, c'mon!

This year I favour being across the water kinda Cornwall way. Dressed as Jango Fett should up my chances for being beaten up this year - possibly by myself. However, hoping Paula will negate any ill feeling by dressing as Princess Leia.

Do you know if you need tickets for the Gritti Palace bash, Stu? And if dressing according to their theme ('Delusions of Grandeur', apparently) is optional or necessary to get in?
Having looked at their website, I'm slightly more sold on the idea of the Gritti... (that and it's close to home!) What are other people planning?

Don't think you need tickets, but not sure how optional the dress code is (even if it is a comedy dress code!) At the moment, I may not be fit enough to go anywhere anyway, but I really don't want to be at home either. Bollocks.

Yeah, thanks for the various invites out this week, but I've been ILL, bleaurgh. Looking at the Gritti site, no sign of advance tickets, or anything like that: www.grittipalace.co.ukTonight's entertainment would be...Rob & Reuben then!
