Google Wave - Who's on it, and is it worth it? I'm seeing a few Facebook mentions from people who regret taking it.

I'm on it. It's difficult to judge yet as obviously very much early days. I think it has a lot of potential though.

Does installing the Google Chrome Frame bit first make much difference to how your computer runs? I really didn't like all those toolbars etc that Google keep trying to add to the laptop, so I'm wary about swamping it with more add-on nonsense.

Chrome is an excellent browser and much faster than Firefox (well on my mac it is anyway) I haven't noticed that I've had to add anything else extra so not really sure what you mean? I've had no problems with it at all

I've got Google Wave now Neil - I was worried it would alter the layout of the laptop view and toolbars, but it hasn't, which is good.
At the moment I've got no idea what to do with it though! I'm sure in a month or two we'll all be dabbling with it, but at the moment it's just... there.

Google Wave's really not doing it for me so far. All the start-up info is in video tutorials, none of which I can watch because (depite trying it out in Internet Explorer and Safari, installing Google Chrome Frame and various Adobe Flash & Shockwave things) I still get 'The required plugin is not installed' messages.
Patience, it's early days...
