Ok, everyone, I've finally come out of Christmas mode, and am gonna take some quiet time over this weekend to put the tape version of the compilation together. I've not got access to a computer again 'til next week, so any last-minute contributions/deletions should be notified to me via my mobile phone (the number is at the bottom of my posts). This will be a rough-cassette version only, just in case people have changed their minds about appearing on it since they submitted their tracks (as you can see by this thread, I've been trying to get this together for over a year...)
Also, 'cos I've not got a computer at the mo, I'm relying on only music that I've physically got at home on CD-R, so several emailed mp3s won't make the cut this time. Hopefully, the exception to this will be Petra & Russel's stuff, which I never managed to download, but I have forwarded them on to Caroline's Gmail, so she or Michael can burn them off this weekend. I haven't the time on my lunch-hour to forward all the other mp3s on to her, so apologies there, but I made an exception in this case to up the number of female contributions (it's still gonna look like I'm marginalising women, but I'm only able to use what I've been sent so far).
Anyway, according to my tattered notebook, the CD-Rs I've actually got at home to pick tracks from are The Flesh Happening, Tim Hoyte, Rashamon, Frontier Telegraph (or whatever name Michael's using), Alfie's Long Goodbye, Same Actor, The Briganties, one of Neil M's bands from Eastbourne (I've forgotten the exact name, it's at home), Verlaine's Electric Morning Star, Rachel's Tigersnack or her duo, Regular John, Kim Wan and something from Bonj. I've also got CD-Rs from The Black Tulips, Doctor Fonda and I'm Dr Bouyant, who I'll try and contact if I decide to fit them in as well, and I'm gonna give Deano a call and try and get him to give the nod for one of the Rumiko tracks that's waiting to come out. In the meantime, if anyone wants to voluntarily download & burn tracks off Myspace from Beamer or Seb's Cadence-Wyatt music-page, that could be handy. Finally, going by this thread, I think it's only Rufus and Axis Deer who didn't end-up getting their tracks in to me, so if either of you read this or are gonna see me out & about over New Year, then pass them on!
Ok, fingers crossed then...
Remember - use my mobile if you need to contact me about any of this!
